Rules and Regulations

General Conduct & Discipline

Morning Assembly is compulsory. Latecomers are not allowed inside the Campus.  Attendance for the Absentees without prior permission must accompany their parents/guardian when they make their presence. More than five instances of late attendance may lead to disciplinary action. Pupils must be clean, well-dressed, and in full school uniform. Respect for school authorities, staff, and fellow Pupils are mandatory. Pupils represent the school and must maintain good behavior inside and outside campus. Insubordination, irregular attendance, laziness, or exam malpractice may lead to dismissal.

Attendance & Leave

Attendance is mandatory on all important school days (Example- Reopening, closing, Sports Day, etc.).
No student may leave school during hours without the Principal’s permission.
Sick leave over five days requires a doctor’s certificate.
Pupils with contagious diseases are not allowed in school until recovery.

Personal Responsibility & Property

Pupils are responsible for their belongings; avoid bringing valuables (jewelry, watches, etc.).
Damaging school property must be compensated as decided by the Principal.
Pupils must help keep the school clean and avoid leaning on walls or damaging furniture.

Academic & Library Rules

Pupils must spend at least two hours in the morning and evening on studies.
Pupils are encouraged to speak English at all times on the school premises.

Communication & Permissions

Private correspondence will be given to children only after the Principal’s inspection.
No collections or fundraising is allowed without Principal’s permission.
Joining external clubs or taking outside exams requires written permission from the Principal.Pupils cannot pursue studies outside the school without approval.

Behaviour & Movement

Movement between classes must be in silence.
The bell before assembly or class must be obeyed promptly.
Objectionable books, novels, newspapers, etc., are strictly forbidden.
Students must bring the School Handbook daily.

Grooming & Electronic Devices

Boys must have a decent haircut. Mobile phones or GSM devices are strictly prohibited on campus.

Attendance & Leave Rules

1. Attendance on Reopening Day is compulsory.

2. Absence requires prior permission from the Principal.

3. No pupil may leave the school during working hours without the Principal’s permission. 

4. Leave must be taken with prior approval, except in emergencies. 

5.Leave taking and late coming should be recorded in the pupil’s calendar

  • Medical certificate is required for sick leave.
  • Unauthorized absence or late coming is punishable. Habitual latecomers will face strict action.
  • Five or more consecutive unauthorized absences will result in the student being marked as ‘LEFT’ and not re-admitted automatically.
  • Minimum 80% attendance is required for promotion to the next class.
  • Absence during tests without prior permission will be taken seriously.
  • No half-day leave allowed unless a parent comes in person.
  • Once a pupil enters school, they cannot leave even with a leave note.

General Uniform Rules (For All Classes - Boys & Girls)

  • White socks with canvas shoes must be worn on Fridays, along with White or House Uniforms.
  • Uniform must be clean and worn properly.
  • Personal hygiene rules:
    Hair must be well combed
  • Nails must be well trimmed
  • Shoes must be well polished
  • Non-compliance with uniform or hygiene standards may result in the pupil being sent home during school hours.

Note:
On all Wednesdays and during school functions, all pupils must wear white uniform.
